Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has launched its Surety business in France, appointing Stéphane Fauré as Head of Surety, France.
Based in BHSI’s Paris office, Fauré will lead the company’s entry into the French surety market, developing a customer-focused underwriting platform and tailored surety solutions for brokers and customers across the country.
“Launching Surety in France is an important step in the continued expansion of BHSI’s capabilities across Europe,” said Louis Du Che, Country Manager, France, BHSI. He highlighted Fauré’s extensive industry experience and knowledge of the French market as key strengths in building the new offering.
Fauré brings more than 10 years of experience in surety and guarantees, with expertise spanning business transformation, regional strategy, broker and banking relationships, product development, and team leadership across SME, mid-market, and large corporate segments.
BHSI’s French Surety team will focus on upper-middle-market and large corporate clients, with particular expertise in infrastructure, construction, renewable energy, services, and other sectors requiring specialized surety solutions. The launch further strengthens BHSI’s specialty insurance offering and presence across Europe.
